Mostly the beat, but for example the Notorious BIG he could be rapping over anything.

I like listening to it when fucked up and at parties, nice to dance too. I enjoy it in the car if its got a nice beat.

4. What are the Effects of rap music to you? __Since i mostly only listen to underground which is purely lyric-based content it lets me think about things i normally wouldn't, and also its easy to get lsot in the song, and the beat if its good.

Look at what all the kids are doing these days. A lot of them try to dress, talk and act like their favorite rap star. not sure if I would call that a good thing given the state of pop-rap. But it is influence.

to me or on me? if its on me, then none really. if its what effects do isee rap music having, either enjoyment, unenjoyment or insignificant effects. the majority of it is shite and it sells, so it is having a degrading effect on popular music. im not sure whats being asked here.
