'Say Say Say' and 'State of Shock'

Who has heard of these two songs which are both duets. 'Say Say Say' is a follow-up duet between Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney from the previous one, 'The Girl is Mine', and was released in 1983, becoming No. 1. 'State of Shock' from 1984 is a duet between Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger. I think that 'Say Say Sat' is available on McCartney's 'Pipes of Peace' album. Anyone heard them and like them?

I alway liked "State of Shock". It's a very underrated Michael Jackson tune. This song has one of my favorite guitar hooks.

I liked both singles. They got a lot of U.S. airplay in the 80s. Sure, they're fluff, but they're harmless and fun...quite unlike the worthless soft-porn these sluts and perverts are putting out nowadays.

Yes, I'm a big MJ fan, but have to say I haven't got either of these songs. I was wondering how you would obtain them these days. Have seen a few clips from the 'Say Say Say' video on documentaries however.

'Say, Say, Say' is one of the worst songs of alltime. truly embarassing and one of the bigger nails in the coffin of Paul McCartney's coolness.

It seems like more people know "Say Say Say" than "State of Shock", but between the two the latter is by far the more unlistenable. It's the fifth track on The Jacksons "Victory". I've hyperlinked the album title if you want to hear a sound sample for proof of how bad it sounds.

"Say Say Say" isn't that great either, but it's not quite the travesty that "State of Shock" is.

Oh, sorry, I didn't understand when I first read your post. Read it too quickly, sorry. Will listen to the part from the song. Thanks!
