That should have been prefaced by "In my opinon..." It certainly does not reflect my personal opinion of the song in question. To my ears, at least, there are lots of much worse songs out there (especially as of the past 10 years or so) than "Say, Say, Say".

no it shouldtve, unless iwished to be a superfluous, redundant tit. unless quoting someone else [without wanting to link their views in anyway with your own] or stating some statistical fact, "In my opinion" could be placed at the begining of every post in every thread in every forum. you could say that phrase to initiate every sentence you speak when you wish to give your thoughts on any subject. however, this is something that is normally juste assumed unless you are appearing as representative for someone/something else and therefore does not need to be said at all. its juste a waste of breath and makes the person sayin it seem unintelligent [or makes it seem that the person sayin it is assuming some sort of unintelligence on the part of his potential audiance].

besides, its nota matter of opinion anyway. 'Say, Say, Say' is a shite song- theres no two ways about it. ha.

... in YOUR opinion, lol
Ah blame McCartney, he wrote it.
Plus what are you on about McCartney's coolness? Like he had any coolness anyway. Ah State of Shock is a great MJ song, I personally don't like Say Say Say either.
Did you know the video was filmed at Neverland ranch? But that was before MJ bought it a few years later!

Along the same lines, who has heard of MJ's duet with Diana Ross called 'Muscles', named after his snake I believe, and also a dust with Stevie Wonder on one of SW's album, (can't remember its name). It's a different one from 'Just Good Friends'.

I knew the video to 'Say Say Say' was filmed in Los Olivos ranch. By the way, did you hear that Eminem of all people is apparently interested in buyiong the Neverland Ranch from Jackson because he wants somewhere to spend time with his daughter? Heard this a couple of days ago.

McCartney was cool [or at least seemed to be cool] when he was still cool with John. now, there is no doubt to the kind of huge fookin loser Paul is. chapman shoulda shot him instead.

I agree. It's one thing to post an opinion about music, but it's another to post something as serious as that.

It turned my stomach.

Chapman was a murderous lunatic who should not have shot anybody. You need to re-visit this extremely crummy remark,chrisarclark...it's stinking up cyberspace.
