Cool Videogame music

Vieogame music used to be great before cd technology. Game makers would push the bounderies of the limited sotfware & in turn create some truly unique tunes. Remember the Sonic the Hedgehog games? 1 & 2 had great music. Every zone had cool little chimes & drums to the point of every one sounded very different. I was one of those people that could go into the options & list every zone by ear. Unfortually, by the time 3 came out Sega had lost that magic. The Dreamcast Sonic games are horrible, generic techno/cheesy guitar crap.

Another series that had great music was the Steets of Rage games. Especially numer 2.

Oh, & remember Enternal Champions? Well, if your a metal fan & happen to come across the Sega CD version one day, buy it. It's worth it just to throw in your cd player & cruise to.

When I first got MarioLand for the gameboy I played it so much I used to hear the tune when I wasn't playing it... Not in my head, actually hear it.

The Legend of Zelda had some of the best music on it. Nintendo should release a CD with all of their video game songs on it. Or let you go to a part of their site and make your own video game mix tape or somethin'....
