Well, I like her new album....but I really think it's not compairs with "Come away with me"....I remember when I heard her first record I was shocked by her voice and her music...this new work is nice and good...but didn't hit me so much.
Anw she's great!
But her concert are too expensive for me now!

yeah, Norah Jones isnt jazz [though some influences can be found in her music]. actually, iwas surprised ihadnt seen a thread on her since shes the top sellin artist in the world rightnow.

Now this is a depressing thought to me. Just because Norah isn't Jazz doesn't mean you should not try real Jazz singers and real jazz.

Give Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Sarah Vaughan a chance. You can be sure Norah has heard them.


Just remember the majority of pop acts today will be on one of those "Where are they now" shows. While Billie, Ella and Sarah will always be remembered and considered legends.
