Check these guys out, they just released their second cd a few months ago, Chutes Too Narrow, its impossible not to love. Theyre acoustic sub pop. Try the song Young Pilgrims or New Slang.

I agree. This was one of my favorite albums from 2003. These guys are very talented.

do you have Oh, Inverted World as well? I thought it would be impossible to top but i think Chutes Too Narrow has the edge.

I haven't picked up Oh, Inverted World yet. But I'm going to. I can't believe how many times I've listened to Chutes Too Narrow since I've gotten it. It really got under my skin (in a good way).

Yes, I agree. Chutes too Narrow is so amazing. I actually like it a lot more than Oh, Inverted World. I had a harder time getting into the first album.

I actually saw them perform, here in DC, this past week. THey were so great! They played most of their upbeat stuff, and I was surprised at how much they played from Oh, Inverted World. The interaction between the guy who plays keyboards and the singer was also very interesting. Their set was a little on the short side.. Just barely an hour, I think. I was pleased though with the overall performance.
