Anybody got any idea of its worth ?

You're talking about the Nuits de la Fondation Maeght recordings? The Recommended Records release is the reissue from 1981. The original releases came out on Shandar in 1971. Which of the two volumes are you talking about?

About $35-$45.

Universal recently reissued both Vol 1 & 2 on CD.

Evidence Music in 1996 put out a great Ra collection called "The Singles", it spans his career from 1955 to 1980. Some really diverse and classic Sun Ra.

Satchmo, thanks for this info. I guess it is the Recommended Records release that I have. It contains a note from them with English translations. The cover is beautifully black with silver and gold print. If you are suggesting it's worth that amount I think I'll be popping it on ebay sometime soon!
many thanks

I would make sure to point out that it is Nuits de la Fondation and not just live from Paris. As well as which Vol.
