kinda. some of their stuff is cool, but mostly its juste to ethereal and spacy for me. couldnt sit down and listen to an album, but once in a while on the radio or at a bar is nice.

not a huge fan of their early materials, but I like most of everything since Victoria Land.

i was very much amazed when i got Mezzanine,
this voice was quite impressive and even i was not that sorry
that Sarah Nelson or Tracy Thorn didn't take part in this Massive Attack album;
and when i learned Liz' ex-band is Cocteau Twins,
cheked a few songs
and been
probably i didn't select right ones to start

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

I'm pretty much the opposite.

Yeah, me too, though I enjoy all their later releases too.

Garlands, Head over Heels, Treasure. Absolutely brilliant.

I wouldn't really describe myself as a fan. I l;ack the depth of experience. I know I like them, and I know I've got some of their stuff on disk, somewhere. I just cannot remember what it is.

Great to see some of Smiths and Morrissey fans here. Sorry if I exploit your topic, LO-FI, by expressing my joy ...
Cocteau Twins was the favourite of the person who introduced me to the music of the Smiths, but I however, never came to much like them

Re:cocteau twins

OK, even thought they're certainly not a toughguy band
I gotta admit I love 'em. Elisabeth Fraser has one of the sweetest voices I've ever head.
I'm especially fond of their 1st album "Garlands"

ive listened to treasure around 3 times today, it is my album of the day it would seem! every track just sounds perfectly dreamy and yet intense...anyway, it's the only album of theirs i own, and ive heard it's the best...what should i go for next? is their other stuff of a similar kind?
