I try not to blame bands for bad lyrics because it sometimes they just don't have good songwriters within the band. It's when the result to generic lyrics and well known cliches that I start to lose respect. *cough GOOD CHARLOTTE cough*

I think their band name has to have the words 'Good' and 'Charlotte' in it. I also think the memebers need to use power chords all the time, have really bad solos, bad drumming, pointless lyrics about guys and girls and money, and things of that nature, and they have to try really hard to be punk when they are pop.
I KEED I KEED.
Honestly, for me they have to have crap lyrics about things like girls breaking up with them and things like that. I also really really hate it when bands try to look a certain way(i.e. spiking hair up, multiple tatoos and piercings). The voice has a lot to do with it too IMO. The vocals don't all need to sound the same, I mean, as other bands. When bands sound alike, that makes me mad.
This is all just my opinion, no means to offend any "Good Charlotte" fans.
