It was a sad and depressing performance. They are a ghost of the original Parliament and Funkadelic. Clinton's drug habit is really takings it's toll on him.

When it comes to the blues, I prefer old school blues. It doesn't get any better.

Hell's Bells, Jonny Lang! What a voice! Ok so I've only heard "Breakin Me" so far yall, but he's very very good. And he's only 17? Wowza. I'm into the old school blues too, B.B. Gun King was the man.

Joss Stone's got a real soulful voice, she reworked that White Stripes tune, "Fell In Love With A Boy".

And lets not forget weedman G of G.Love & Special Sauce folks, this shit's pretty groovy.

Don't know about pure instrumental man, but some more artists to check out are Sly & The Family Stone. Their album, Fresh, rocks hard dudes...love the demented cover of "Que Sera, Sera". Otis Redding's real good for soul, Culture and The Brides of Funkenstein for good old fashioned funk.
