I just started writing and i find it very hard to think of thngs to write about. How do you guys think of topics to right about?

i usally write about politics !

start off with what pisses you off but try and stray away from angst and 'generic' writing

thats what i did, then started writing about random things. i think im gonna write a song about a dumb raven i saw today, lol.

most people will tell you write what you know.

if you want to write about something you dont' know, you should do some research first.

I make up stories about people I see on the bus or walking down the street, or I write about friends or my own experiences. Anything is cool to write about really. I guess.

you don't have to understand a word of it. I am just giving you an example of what I noticed yesterday on the news and using my observation in my little sentence. ricin powder is a poison from castro beans. deadly stuff.
