What do you like about it? What are your favorite tracks? Have you heard any other Skinny Puppy albums?

From Litany:

"Additionally, the LP is now 100% finished and on its way to mastering. Ken Marshall has said that he believes it is our strongest LP in 15 years."

They always say that, but I really do hope he's right. "Strongest LP in 15 years" means it would have to be better than Rabies, Too Dark Park, Last Rights and The Process. They should have no trouble with the latter, but those first three are going to be tough to beat, especially Too Dark Park.

Like I said before, I'm really more interested in seeing them live than the album itself. Has anyone here heard about their live shows? I had a couple of friends who saw them live. Apparently, on the Too Dark Park tour, Ohgr came out, did the first song, and during the second one he ripped his own face off!!! Apparently he had been wearing this prosthetic mask, and underneath it there was all this blood and another mask that looked like a fleshy skull without a face. That was just one of many highlights, apparently. They said it was the best show they'd ever seen, highly shocking and disturbing but just awesome.

too dark park tour would be a very very cool one to go to...

the threatrical stuff in the live shows, it makes total sense that they want to shock the audience, just like a horror movie!

I want to get Aint it Dead Yet DVD but I heard the quality is pretty bad.

I've heard Cleanse, Fold and Manipulate and Too Dark Park also... The thing that got me most about VIVIsect VI was the fact that it's such a hard listen, but perseverence has it's reward... Ohgr sounds fantastic on it. Favourite tracks would be Harsh Stone White and Human Disease (S.K.U.M.M.) (conveniently tracks 3 & 4)

Might be misreading this, but it sounds like you're attacking me in your post for having an opinion...That's all it was, an opinion.

If I have misread this, apologies.

Yeah, you misread it. I was just interested in knowing why you like it, me being a big fan and all. I'm always curious about what brought people to the group. I like that album too, so no, it wasn't an attack.
