Arrow Scribble Jam....

Hey i was just curious to see if anybody's attended this event in ohio. I know its like a mixture of hip hop culture and grafitti showcases... but i wondered if the event is worth going to... Like how was the scene, and was there anything to do after the displays and shows were over...

Sorry can't say I know anything, sounds interesting though. But Ohio seems a little weak for the hip-hop scene and after parties would seem scarce.

I don't know much about scribble jam except when I do hear about it it sounds dope. I've heard some live freestyles from Eyedea and slug and those guys from it. If I lived closer I'd def check it out.

Are you kidding me?.. Scribble Jam is a dream to me, when I get better in Hip-Hop, I am going to be going to Scribble Jam to battle other emcees. Scribble Jam is the BIGGEST underground Hip-Hop convention.. they have competitions in Emcee Battles, Graffiti Battles, B-Boy Battles (Breakdancing) and DJ Scratching compitions.

I Have the Scribble Jam videos from 1997 to 2001 and then I have 2003 but Im missing 2002.. Eyedea is the illest battler I have ever seen and watching Brother Ali, Blueprint, Sage Francis, Pumpkinhead and Eyedea the guys I look up to battling each other at Scribble Jam is amazing.

To me.. emceeing at Scribble Jam is like doing a show in Madison Square Gardens, Scribble Jam isnt just some show, it happens once every year and is a huge convention, all the big name Underground emcees will be there.

Also they are constantly always adding new events to Scribble Jam, like last year they added Beat Boxing battles and they are in talks of adding a Skatepark. The event is getting so big.. soon its going to be a MEGA underground Hip-Hop event.
