Headphones

What HFs do you use? I'm using a pair of sennheiser hd280s. I don't know if there are any enthusiasts on this forum, but I'm just wondering.

Sorry but I have another question about headphones.
I have a pair which I use in my stereo, can I also use them in my PC, or do I need a special pair.

I have tried to plug them into my PC but there is no sound....any sugestions ?

Your headphones should work where-ever you plug them into, given that the devices share the same jack. I'm taking it that your headphones are the standard 3.5mm minijacks variety.

Just ensure that you've plugged your headphones into the right bit in your soundcard, and that you've got the sound turned up. Apart from that, I cant help you very much.

I had some Sennheiser HD497s that I used for a couple years and I liked them a lot. I just got some Shure E3's. They sound a bit better, but are totally portable, and isolate noise very well. My roomates get sort of mad at me because when they want to come and talk to me I can't hear them knocking on my door, or talking to me after they open it (my back is to the door), so they have to scream. !
