Stoopid lady, stoopid man in a stoopid show in the middle of a stoopid sporting event in a... perfectly normal and well-led country.

You're making a broad statement when you say school, because certain behavior is condemned in grade school, while it's normal in High School. And second of all, no kid of mine is gonna "go do something he sees on TV".....Most people actually don't do what they see on TV....
The ones that do are idiots. Those kids that got themselves killed doing Jackass stunts deserved it. It's survival of the fittest. Those kids died to teach others a lesson in stupidity......
You're taking this whole thing way too far Dr. Laura.....

If that's how you see things then more power to ya! But when your kid does something stupid, you will probably be singing a different song. But I guess if you have done it. Then you wouldn't mind your children doing whatever you have done in the past.

Here's something nobody's thinking about...the demeaning of womanhood. Look folks, what Justin Timberlake did onstage was simulate a sexual assult, OK? If we like this sort of thing, what we're saying is that we like seeing women treated like things instead of people. I'm amazed that nobody is talking about this aspect of it. Women, do you see what is happening here? I fully expect to see some women stand up and be counted about how insulting this is to womanhood. Or maybe today's women have finally gotten a life and actually think it's cool to be abused as mere sex toys...but I hope not.

I've heard everyone involved say that it was a "wardrobe malfunction", and that the red piece was supposed to stay in place, while the black piece tore away. I also heard that they put the pastie on her just in case both pieces came off.....So, basically you gotta look at it for what it was: a dance routine.
Timberlake and Jackson are paid millions to sing and dance, and when he was asked to rip her shirt off he coulda said "no", but since those 2 are (rumored) messin' around sometimes anyway, so they did it. Plus, you probably do whatever you're told when you're a pop-star, performer....(Lip N-Sync) and Jackson put the pastie on, so it's not like they didn't know the risk involved. (it's assumed risk, like when you go to a baseballgame, you might get hit by the ball)
I agree that it's not at all cool to assault Women in any way, but I think you're seein' it as way too "Evil", Rev.....

Gee Rev, I wonder if you got all bent outta shape when Britney came out with that snake, or when Little Kim wore that outfit (with the pastie) and Diana Ross patted her boob.....Oh Shit!!! Did you just lose your mind when Madonna Kissed Britney!! We're all goin' to Hell!!! "Sex sells" you've heard....and I'm just suprised that you hold these pop star idols in the same standards as a regualar Church-goin' American citizen....They're not....They're groomed to be hot and sell it with the sexiness...Elvis tried to do it with his hips and they made him sing to a hound dog on TV because people were all upset at the hip-swingin' heartthrob. You seem to be one of those people....Times have changed man, and while I'm not a fan of pop music or demeaning Women, I still get an OK feeling when I see bikini clad women in my Beer commercials.....
I sure as Hell don't get upset.....
