I think it's a good thing that it happened.
I like Janet.....(o) (o)
For those people that are so offended, you need to shut up and get over it. Can a boob be that bad? When you consider the fact that kids are exposed to a variety of sex and violence on TV, it's not really that bad. Oh, no, we just corrupted our kids!!!
Kids pick up the bad behavoir at school, after school with their friends, the internet, etc.....I seriously doubt that kids are emotinally scarred now because they saw one of Janet's friends....
No, it shouldn't be shown on the air, but it happened, so get over it and move on.....

(I added the stars myself so nobody here would get all offended and upset that we're ruining the kids lives!!)

well in the UK, nothing. Different cultures have different standards. And the American standards are getting lower and lower. It's all fine and dandy in the UK and Australia to have nudity. Or thats what I am guessing. So really this thread has nothing to do with people who don't have to live in this culture. If you want nudity in Australia then ask for it there. As for me, I dont want it all over the TV screen 10 years from now.

Well i guess if you don't care about your son then you wouldn't mind...

I think its a tragic day that we willingly subject our own children to nudity.

Being comfortable with nudity does not mean you are going to become a sexual demon. if my son decides to hit porn sites and have casual sex with girls it will not be because he has seen people with no cloths on the TV.
If he had never seen nudity I belive he would be more likely to explore porn and sex at a younger age. Nudity does not = sex.

Unless you have kids of your own, you have no comprehension of how much I care for my son so don't even sugest that I don't care for him.

If there were kids watching so what, they were all sucking on a boob a few years ago, what is the big deal about nudity, why is it considered so damaging ??

Those same parents who would try to shield their kids from seeing a breast probably have no problem with their kids seeing some guy get bashed or shot in some action movie. i think some people have their priorities wrong.

I agree with this... Many Americans seem to be a bit too puritan...
Well of course it was a tasteless act and it would be a lot better if Britney and co's videoclips would focus on the music instead of on the amount of clothes they're not wearing... I pity Janet more than that I would think it's offensive... and why would there be such different standards in America then elsewhere?

"School"?
High School? Cuz, if my son was having casual sex with girls in high school, I'd tell him to wear a rubber, and I'd thank God he's not gay! (just cuz you didn't get laid in high school dosen't mean it's wrong for others to get some!!, Jeez) No, seriously......
You're making a broad statement when you say school, because certain behavior is condemned in grade school, while it's normal in High School. And second of all, no kid of mine is gonna "go do something he sees on TV".....Most people actually don't do what they see on TV....
The ones that do are idiots. Those kids that got themselves killed doing Jackass stunts deserved it. It's survival of the fittest. Those kids died to teach others a lesson in stupidity......
You're taking this whole thing way too far Dr. Laura.....

Guys are visual stimulated. Nudity is not mearly nudity to guys. It's a stimulate. Again, its a Stimulate. Testosterone - the amino acid of sexual desire. Don't tell me its not about sex.
