Malachi Favors has passed away.
Sad News. I Just heard the news that Jazz great Malachi Favors has passed away.
He was best known for being the bassist of one of the greatest avant-garde groups The Art Ensemble of Chicago.
I plan to be listening to several of my AEC recordings over the next few days.
