Blonde Redhead
I loved their previous album Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons and I'm curious to hear the new one, Misery Is a Butterfly... Anyone heard it already?

If you like your alternative music mysterious with lush female vocals you'll love these two albums I mentioned in the previous post... Top song: "For The Damaged".
Mind you, they used to be a noise rock band, similar to Sonic Youth, but I prefer their newer music.

I've seen the new album described as a sober version of Cocteau Twins, now I don't know CT too well, but I know that this is nice

Never heard their first album but I just got Misery Is A Butterfly and I really like it. Mellower than most of the stuff I've been listening to but very nice.

They have about 4 cd's out I think... The first three were noisy, but if you like Misery, you'll like Melody of certain damaged lemons too I think

Just discovered them , by you. It's a bit weird some songs, but they have great moody music! I specialy like Misery is a butterfly, Violent life and missile. From that last song I have two versions. One sun by a guy, the other by a girl. What's up with that?

Yeah they have one male and one female singer, that's right... Don't know that song "Missile" actually...
My favourites are "For The Damaged", "Hated Because Of Great Qualities", "Oh James", "Equus" & "Elephant Woman"
