An interesting Korean prog rock band from back in the day is Sanulim.

A style of drum music that I like is called Samul Nori

And here's some info on a weird k-pop I like, Pipi Band

I already mentioned Sanulim. They have an excellent tune called 기타로 오토바 타 (Geeta-ro Oto-ba-i-eul Taja) which literally means "Let's ride a guitar like a motorbike."

Probably on some Korean sites, but they would of course be in Korean. I'll have a look around for you. Maybe I can send you some.

Here you go nuray.

The second video takes about a minute before the sound and performance kicks in. The third one doesn't appear to be working.

Very cool, Satch. That appears to be the main group that performs for diplomats at the Sejeong Centre for the Arts in Seoul. I've seen them play live a couple of times. Fantastic group of musicians.
The quality on those videos isn't that good unfortunately, so nuray I'm in the process of getting a new computer. When I do, I'll send you some of the samulnori music I have on CD. I have some other traditional Korean music as well if you're interested.
