Here is a few questions I have.

Do you think on a board this large, that you were going to be the first person to ask for Jazz suggestions? Did it even cross your mind that there might be other threads, which have been started by previous members?

You will eventually learn if there is one person, which you can count on for any information on any genre (Outside of the Ultimate Horror) it will be me, and I have no problems helping out. However, there are only so many times someone wants to repeat the same suggestions, which have already been mentioned and can be easily found.

If you have those recordings already, that's another story altogether.

You wanted drummers. Well amazingly, that has been covered already. If you search you will find the entire thread this comes from.

You can throw out your limited vinyl collection, I plan to keep my collection of 78's, 33s, and 45s.

By the by, it won't be much of a different reaction in the Metal forum either. You don't think any Black Metal threads are alerady around?

I already said this, in the thread Roivas linked to; however, that particular list is not exactly close to my essential list.

Example being, the Sinatra isn't even Jazz. Excellent recording, which is a must for any fans of the Chairman of the Board, but not Jazz.

Not only isn't Herbie Hancock's - Future2Future not Jazz, it's terrible in general.

Yeah man, don't sweat it, I basically went through this same thing myself last week in the blues forum, courtesy of Roivas

That's only because he was trying to protect you from a much worse fate.

Here is a good starters list. No filler or junk in this list.

thank you all very much. I just didn't know where to start, and I understand how dealing with 'noobs' can be a pain in the ass. I mean, I'm a drummer, so I have to teach people, and try not to be an asshole about it. And I really didn't mean to get 'bent out of shape', I just... get a little frustrated when people 'sigh' and beat around the bush. So please forgive me. And thanks again.
