On my PC, I've just got a set of Creative Inspire 5.1 speakers, and they're pretty damn alright. Also connected (and able to be used at the flick of a crossfader) are my home made towers of destruction. 1x Kenwood tweeters, 2x mid range (also kenwood) and 1x 8 inch subby (no branders) in each tower, soon to be fitted with their own amps. When I get rich, that is.

Everything I have, from speakers to headphones, is cheap stereo, the kind you can get at a Walmart or a Radio Shack. My living room speakers are a set of Polk Audio speakers that I got for about 50 dollars.

In my basement studio I have some old Radio Shack Minimus speakers that I've had for years, and I still like the sound of them very much.

Our Gateway computer has a pair of Boston speakers with a sub-woofer.

Maybe it's because I grew up with old monophonic record players and transistor radios...I'm really easy to please when it comes to stereophonic sound. Cheap jamboxes and cheap headphones don't bother me at all. Just about anything you can get your hands on today sounds worlds better than anything that was widely available when I was growing up.
