yeah, theyre at least civil now. trent was really pissed fora while after marilyn's book came out with all kindsa bullshite about him that juste wasnt true. they mustve patched things up well enough thogh cos marilyn joined NIN on stage during The fragile Tour [performing Starfuckers Inc. with trent and the band].

trent is brilliant and NIN can be amazing but trents so fookin slow at puttin shite out [though when it finally comes its gold] and ifookin hate all the bloody remix tide over albums in the interim. theyre always ass.

I think the fall out was because Manson didn't like Rezner getting all the credit for Antichrist Superstar and for the success of the group.

yeah, that was likely a lot of it. trent did deserve a lota credit for Antichrist, but Marilyn deserved more than he got. despite all the attention and commercial success he has had in his career, Marilyn is still deserving of far more artistic credit and crediabilty than he has so far gained.

on a view of subjection, i strongly disagree. i think it's the intros and the very build up into the musical climax of the music that make nin so great for me. i mean, what would the likes of the great below or head like a hole or reptile be like without the build-up? it wouldn't be exciting if the songs carried on like they do when they reach their peak the whole way through.

i think the nin intros make a good deal of their songs, and are an imperative part of their sound.

Ive really gotten into NIN the last few months. Right now The Fragile is my favorite album, its very solid the whole way through. Fav songs on the album include Somewhat Damaged, The Day the World Went Away,We're In This Together and Starfuckers Inc. I love the Downard Spiral as well, Reznor is a genious and I cant wait for the new record.
