ProTools Problem

I found this link that provides ProTools for free. My question is can't ProTools be run on Win2000 or WinXP?

http://www.digidesign.com/ptfree/
Notice that the Windows Download is For Win98 & WinME.

Aahh!...
In a perfect world there should be a ProTools version for Win2000 or Xp...
Listen Dumb, ProTools is NOT a software. ProTools is a software + a hardware system. Of course you can find a Win2000/Xp version, but you need to buy the ProTools soundcard... You can try to trick your computer so it's convinced that you have the hardware card... but it's just like a car with the body of a ferrari and a kart engine...
Go and buy ProTools or forget it...

I think it's around 4,000$ for a standard ProTools station... (you asked me what professsional use!!...) That's why I'm still using Sound Forge and Cubase!
