Here are some tips :

1/ if you know the lyrics of the song you're looking for, why not trying googling the lyrics? It works 85% of the time!
If you're looking for a song from a commercial, why don't you try the official website of the company?

2/ when you create a new thread, please put a keyword in the title. Don't call it "song id please" or "can't find a song" = this forum is here for that!
For example if you're looking for a hip-hop song, and you can hear the lyrics "I like the blue rabbits". Just name the thread "Hip-Hop : blue rabbits"!. We will all save time!!

3/ in your new thread, never forget to mention :
- the genre!!!
- the year (if possible)
- any lyrics?
- female/male voice?
- any special instrument identified?
- your country!!

4/ please, don't answer a thread if you have nothing to say
Too many people answer "sorry no idea"...
