African Dope Records

Hey Everyone, I'm new on the boards and expect to stick pretty close to this particular forum, I suppose you can check out my profile if it'll interest you.

Just wondering if any of you have experienced anything from Cape Town's own African Dope Records. I guess it wouldn't be an easy find in the northern hemisphere, but it's worth checking out some of their compilations. Felix Laband is a Cape Town native that is -amazing-.

On a side note: It seems that all of you are more into drum n bassy techno stuff, which is fine, but how much interest do you all have in Lounge or Ambient music?

lounge can be taken as "chill out" I suppose, and ambient is great. Lately, my collection has been ambient mostly, list some artists you may be interested in...

http://www.radiomute.com/t5336-1.html here's also a great thread about ambient works.

Near all the electronic music I like is oriented towards ambient ( Future sound on london, the ambient works of Aphex Twin ) or dark downtempo stuff like Massive Attack and the likes .. anyway i'm just starting myself into electronic, all the other stuff i listen to is rock/metal stuff .. any good recomendations ?
