something that has always been associated with skating and rap is Gangstar. Their pretty good but they start to sound generic.

Yeah you're right lots of skaters get into Gangstarr, they have great skate flow beats that work well when putting songs to skate films. I forget the name of the song, but it goes something like "I wanna be a tenor thats how my eys can see it, victory is mine, yeah surprisingly". That song is awesome, and is in a few skate films, such as the Sixteen Skateboards video 'I hate children'. (The thing being that all the skaters are 16 or younger and rip)
