Lightbulb Jimi Hendrix Style On a 5-String Banjo (mp3)

I am new here, but as far as I can tell... it's ok to post this in this forum (I hope).

This is a link to a few banjo mp3's of mine. At this time two of them are what I call "Heavy Metal Banjo". I threw some humbucker guitar pickups in my Gibson RB25 (popular with bluegrass players) and much more. People tell me it has a bit of a Jimi Hendrix tone to it.

Look for the term "Metal Banjo" or "Heavy Metal Banjo".

lmao!

You know.. I did try that a few times. I never have mastered that one on banjo yet. It's GOT to be easier done on guitar than banjo.

Doing this with a banjo can result in pulling the strings right off the bridge. (' taste like chicken, though)

damm good question.
