It seems to me that DnB has a solid 2/4 beat, jungle seems to have some sort of extra 8th or 16th, I can't quite put my finger on it

I would, by far, group Squarepusher in with the Drill n Bass crowd, and even with his last 3-4 albums not close to the genre...
Photek is on Astralwerks, if you are looking for intelligent dn'b, check out "modus operandi" and "risk vs. reward", but if you are looking for a more housy dn'b album, his last album "Solaris" is the epitome of it all. Not too fond of it, but alas, it appealed to some people.
