hey bec, what's wrong with zinc? anyway, my favorites are more of the jazzy, smooth type (most of the stuff thrive808 mentioned, he is one of my buddies, we listen to a lot of the same stuff) but i love marcus intalex (sincere is one of my favorite tracks) the harder stuff is good, but not what i want to listen to all the time. the first d&b party i went to had ed rush and optical, bad company, the executioners, and various others. that stuff is fun live when its coming through at about 100,000 watts.

am I the only one that likes Photek's work? just seems like when a thread comes up about drum n bass, he is rarely mentioned, perhaps he's in the jungle category.

no, I like Photek. is he jungle? I always thought he was drum and bass with extra dose of paranoia.

see, I always got the two mixed up. I guess jungle seems to be a more cultural thing, perhaps? not exactly sure, but I love his "Modus Operandi" and "Risk vs. Reward" albums...
