yes i must agree that this is a good thread.....

so here is my opinon on everything...
First of all, im not really about rhymesayers and epitaph coming together, i dont understand why slug would do that, but more money and promitotion i guess. i just hope he keeps do the small shows and still comes down to the record store and everything. You see im from Minneapolis, Slug owns a record store called Fifth Element, on lake st. if you ever in the cities go check it out. He still has the same attitude towards everything, or in my eyes he does, saw him again at the store a few months ago.
Thrive...yes the spin article was pretty sad i must agree, but the little bit that i read of it disgusted me. Los Nativos are the shit, one of the members is a co-owner of fifth element, and totally hooked up with when i lost my concert ticket he put me on the guest list.

personally i was not about God Loves Ugly at all....seemed that was like when everyone jumped on...

if you like Brother Ali hes releasing a new cd you could say....just some unrealsed tracks, definitaly hit it up, support him, he has to be my favorite underground guy right now. I think its because I've had a few conversations with him, and hes just got a really good look on everything.

nothing has been mentioned about One Man Army, or i dont think it has been....check him out, hes good live seen him 3 possibly 4 times

Thanks For Listening/Reading

Lil' Wyte.....don't know if you'd consider him underground but I do considering not very many people have heard of him. Definatly not mainstream.

Yes I already Pre-ordered the vinyl a few days ago. It ships Friday. I ordered it from Sandbox Automatic in NYC and it came with a FREE copy of Rites of Passage on CD. And it was only $10.

The truth is I only found out about atmosphere about 6 months before GLU. His older shit is better. You've definetly have a better perspective on things since you're from minnesota.
