That is so cool... I love little tidbit parts that have a HUGE impact on a song... It is cool to know Bert felt that little "wo" would indeed have a strong impact and what also is interesting is some people may not have even thought about that little vocal, and yet if they go back to the song and listen for it, it may become a huge feature in the song... (I have pointed out to people the cork popping in the Beatles "Lovely Rita" and most had never noticed it before, but after becoming aware of it they are so taken aback by how cool, fun and perfect it is in the song)...

Jane Little
If anyone is still interested I can tell you a bunch about the keyboard player Jane.
Oh and by the way. I don't think there version of "Birthday" was so dopey. Every time i hear it, it reminds me of being a kid and hearing it for the first time on the AM radio in my dads car. Every song has a time and place. if the world can stand hearing William Shatner demolish "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" surly we can enjoy a bubble gum version of "Birthday".

Let There Be Light
This is Chris Connors again! I was the lead guitar player in the Underground Sunshine band and had posted some stuff here some time ago. I myself have no MP3 files of the songs from "Let There Be Light" and to the person that has these I would be interested in procuring them. I can provide"Mr. Soul" and various other live recordings the band made. I am hesitant about printing my email address here and would suggest that you contact Syd to see if he could put us in direct contact without me resorting to that. I also have MP3 files of the band that Underground Sunshine became after a year or so where 3 of the members remained that are quite good, considering. Perhaps you could have Syd email me your email addresses - that is, anyone who would be interested in this. I have moved now to Arizona, near to Laughlin, Nevada because I like it warm. I'll look forward to hearing from some of you, especially the bloke from England who has those MP3 files that I lack. I have also some recordings that seem to be unknown to you all by the US. Well then, : over and out. Chris
