in all honesty i think there are already enough genres on these forums as is... i like forte's idea of calling it 'misc.' or 'misc. music' as a place for anything that doesn't quite fit in the other genres... using an established genre name seems to limit the possible discussion...

Sorry, but I won`t create a misc music forum, because I think the current misc (FSS) forum should handle all miscs including music misc.
Maybe the Alternative forum won`t be popular, then I`ll take it down again. But I will wait some more.

I think that indie and alternative are the same thing, they are both images nowadays too.
