I can't recall if I posted here already, but here's one that quickly came to mind.

Bauhaus: Double Dare

Also, I have a foundness for Black Sabbath, as in the song, from the album, from the band...one song that immediately birthed metal/doom metal/sludge metal in one motion...

...add a shout out for What It's Worth from Buffalo Springfield.

Actually, that reminds me of what should have been my #1 pick...or at least a tie with 21st Century Schizoid Man which Orwell already covered.

Suite: Judy Blue Eyes - Crosby, Stills & Nash

Another one of those songs/artists that may not immediately scream "Seba would love this!", but it's actually one of my favorite pieces of music ever writen.

Ah, that feels better...been a while.

Anyway, I'll add Helmet's "In The Meantime" if it hasn't been mentioned.

In my opinion that song takes too long to start up. Kinda like Fistful of Steel by RATM.

But I think Bombtrack was a great opening for an album. Great intro, great flow and guitar to show what the group was made of.
