Great Hip hop in Wigan!

If you are into Hip Hop and you live in the northwest (even if u dont), head down to Bar Baa in wigan on a Friday night and check out a new hip hop group called "Funky Dialect". The group consists of DJ Flipnast, who is guarenteed to play quality underground hip hop and scratch to make you itch, lyricists "Que C" and "Raskal", providing superb rhymes, and other resident DJs "G-force", playin new school hip hop, and "Will Powers" adding alittle funk to the mix. Baa Bar has no entry fee so no need to worry about that. Check it out, 100% satisfaction guarenteed. Any queries, please reply!

Peace Out!

Bar Baa,
32 Wallgate, Wigan

I'm not that into UK Hip Hop!

I listen to US underground hip hop mostly. "Funky Dialect" are close friends of mine and i want to help promote their night so that fellow hip hop lovers can see what they do. Wiganers tend to overlook what they do coz they aren't into hip-hop and this kind of annoys me. DJ Flipnast is my older brother and he intends to go far. As his younger brother and hip hop lover, I want to help him do it. Are there any UK hip hop artist you could recommend me listening to?

Hip-hop in Wigan isn't very big ... but it is pretty good for music for such a small town. I know baa pretty well, but I'd take the Bowling Green or Lux anyday!

I agree baa isn't that big, but it serves the purpose. I think of it as a mear stepping stone for Hip hop in Wigan. I hope that they will move onto bigger thinks and aim for larger crowds.

By the way, its on tonight! starts at 9:30 pm, its either on the bottom floor or on the top floor. Hey, Just blaze, i listen to a lot of souls of mischief, my favourite tunes are "Thats when your lost" and "93 till infinity".... they is bad ass tunez. Bec, my bro plays all round hip hop like J5, afu ra, wu-tang clan, biggy, Big L and gangstarr... plus more. He can scratch like a demon! he still can get better but he sounds pretty damn good now!

Hope to see a large crowd of hip hop heads tonight! remember the place, remember the time! All are welcome!
