What would you say the album sounds like?

they kinda have their own style they're english but its got skillz on it who's from U.S. their tunes are quite dark but their lyrics are amazing. some of its soul too. i think you'd like it

went to see phi life on news year eve this year and they ripped the place up . still not sure about the new album its got alot to live up to after milenium metaphors, but i only got it yesterday so i need more time .they did two great tracks on the "Louis Sliperz ten pound bag" the best album for anyone who wants an introduction to british hip hop

yeah thats right "ten pound bag" is a taskforce album really but its got phi life ,skinny man ,rodenyp, roots manauva and loads others on it look out for the first one though cuz theres a ten pound bag II album which isn't as good , also Life did a solo album which is worth a listen as well.

yeah ive seen Skully he's a shit hot scratch D.J i saw him at the 2002 DMC championships in Brixton he played about a six/seven minuete battle set it was sick but he came seccond to kantario
