I'm not really into chingy. He seems like cookie cutter pop-rap to me. He even got the obligatory "I like the ladies" song (right thurrr) I've swear I've heard basicly the same exact song dozens of times from other pop-rap artists.

I Like 50, but not as much as Chingy he has his own style ever saying he is trying to be like Nelly an other how the F is that. Chingy is Chingy and ya'll Damn People don't like on body damn rappers sings pop what the hell. Let them do there damn thing and stop hating on them if you take the time and hear their music. Maybe ya’ll will like it I used to do that I now I would just say don’t like there style not they suck or I don’t like them. Damn it is not that serious hell I am sure they do not like you. They can do their thing, nobody is going to stop them. But aren't we allowed to talk about their music? That seems to be what this forum is for. I'm sure you can find a thread on here where you don't agree with everyones opinions.
But back on the topic of Chingy. He's a marketing scheme that you feel for. I can't see his distinct style, aside from him talking differently. The style of rap hasn't changed in a long time, well a major change. There have been rappers who come out, camron for example, and are practically just talking. His rhymes are horrible, often rhyming a word twice just to make it a line, but his style is different from Chingy's. The difference is so slight that it shouldn't be considered a difference, but there are idiots that buy into this commercial crap.
Chingy's from the south, he talks like an idiot but gets praise from people like you for having a break through style. He lives in a different state, still the same shitty rhymes. I've given his music a chance, it's on the radio 24/7, so don't give me that shit. He's just paid to read some lines and look nice.
Who said he was like Nelly?
