I think their a great duo but wouldn't go as far to say the only two that matter in rap right now. Great, original rap though that defintley deserves praise for atleast originality. I don't think their latest album is as good as some of their earlier work, but it is still better than a lot of the songs on the radio.

Love the new album, it's great! I think I am going to have to buy the others now! I have always liked Outkast but never properly 'got into them', I guess I will soon enough. I have to agree that they aren't the only thing going for hip hop and there are better hip hop artists out there, however none are as quirky and funny as Outkast

If you haven't heard their early stuff, do your self a favor and listen to it now! I've been listening to them since their first album "southernplayalisticadillacmusic". IMO their first three albums or so are the best.

the latest double album was not bad. but I think they work better together, mixing the strengths of each of them.
