I like soulseek because I can't get anything from it, because for some reason it never succsessfully resume downloads.

Soulseek isn't really worth fighting to get working if you listen to pretty popular music. I reccomend slsk to people who can't find their music on Win MX, or Kazaa or what ever p2p program they currently use.

I'm giving another try to WinMx today.........
It's driving me MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I'm sharing more than 7000 files and every user who's trying to download from me shares less than 100 files (about 75% of them share 0 file!!!!!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO WAY TO BAN THEM IN THIS F�CKING P2P!!!!

I'm not a big fan of Soulseek. I mean, sure, it has a heap of rare music but the speeds are annoying (I was getting 1kbps on my 512k DSL connection).

Man i just DL`d soulseek and i think its awesome. Fast Dl`s no problems, it blows Kazaa away. I didnt have any troubles getting it to work and it was a very quick easy set up. Ive DL`d 10 songs and the average rate is 36 seconds per song.

Your connection isn't the only one that matters. You see, the download can only go as fast as the slower connection. Meaning if this guys got a 56k, your download will only go about 5-10k. And he could also be liimiting the download speed. Or have multiple people downloading from him. That is why they give the adverage upload speed of the user next to all downloads. So that you can avoid these sort of things. :tongue:

Edit: The problem might even be you. Should check and make sure you do not have your downloads limited. 0 is unlimited speed.

I rarely use Win MX or Kazaa Lite anymore for MP3's. Soulseek, when it isn't down

gets me just about anything I am looking for
