I haven't seen much of it, but I'm sure that it was in poor taste. However, 8 year olds don't buy albums, so who the hell cares what they think? Their parents aren’t the target audience either so they can go to hell too. I’m also sure that she’s going to get a lot of publicity for it; as they say, “there’s no such thing as bad press”.

yeah, you're probably right. But even if the kids aren't the ones paying for the albums, they do look up to her so I think she should keep her pants on, or chapps, or whatever the hell she's supposed to be wearing in the video. It's worth a download, even if you don't like her music. I like watching it on Mute. It's funny.

hmmm... think about this... she was always #2 at best behind britney... the record company releases a super raunchy video... and now even people that don't like her music are talking about it... they don't (and have never) cared about the kind of role model she may or may not be... they just want to have the public aware of her so they can sell her shit... and they're doing it right...

your right MR2 she was a role model for young teens, however those young teens are now grown up. she is just adjusting to her audience like britney, backstreet boys, nsync etc.
