as much as i do think stars need to maintain a certain standrad for their younger fans , christina showed her sexuality and was called a slut ,male singers do that all the time in thier video's and they aren't called a slut in fact they're considered cool ,and don't be mistaken those guys are just as much a role model as she is , if the parents of these kids dont want them to be exposed to that kind of thing then should live on mars cuz in this world its gonna happen

I think guys who do those sorts of things are just as bad as the women/girls.

It's the females who do this anyway. That always say stufff like "She is such a skank" and then with the guys they will say something like "He is soo cute".

In my opinion I think they are all up themselves.

This is called DOUBLE STANDARD. To me, they are all SLUTs, males of females. It is not fair when guys score, they call them stud. but when girls score, they call them sluts. but they should understand, without those "sluts", the guys can only score with their hands.

Sluts should apply to all genders, not just females.

I disagree in a sense. For the age group targeted originally. By chance or not. the yougner girls liked Christina, just like they like Backstreet Boys and Nsync and the likes. chiristina and britney, although I never liked them, used to have better taste in clothing (they actually WORE it) where as backstreet boys and nsync also wore ncie clothes, casual suit types of things, or jeans and a nice shirt. Lately, what I see of Nsyns (i dont know where backstreet boys went) they're still like that. A little lamer on the clothing side, but they still wear nice clothes and cover themselves. Where as christina can go out on stage barely wearing any clothes? I think they;re rightfully called sluts. What males do you see doing this? I cant think of any off-hand.

you're right in a sense males dont do that however women are forced to if they wnt to make it in this business as much as i think it is distasteful i doubt christina britney , Jlo and etc would be where they are if they werent as scantily clad as they are and they despite arguibily bad taste they have *some* talent and deserve to showcase it and as much as i think the showcase should involve more clothing its theyre stylists that tell them what to wear and i apreciate that they're stuck between a contract and a hard place
