PJ Harvey's seventh album 'Uh Huh Her' – the follow up to 2001's Mercury Prize-winning 'Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea' – will be released by Island Records on the 31st May 2004. The album will be preceded by single 'The Letter', out 17th May.

After a summer of live dates - including appearances at the V Festival, the Eden Project and the first rock concert at Tate Modern – Harvey finished work on the new record in the autumn of 2003. The album was written, performed, recorded, mixed & produced by Harvey, who chose Head to assist in additional recording and mixing and Rob Ellis, long time collaborator, to play drums and percussion on the album. Multi-instrumentalist, Harvey, played everything else.

The full tracklisting is as follows:

1.The Life and Death of Mr Badmouth
2.Shame
3.Who The Fuck?
4.The Pocket Knife
5.The Letter
6.The Slow Drug
7.No Child of Mine
8.Cat on the Wall
9.You Come Through
10.It's You
11.The End
12.The Desperate Kingdom of Love
13.The Darker Days of Me & Him

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

Rid of Me is still my favorite PJ album but I'm really liking Uh Huh Her - particularly No Child of Mine and The Desperate Kingdom of Love.

I read some reviews and they weren't all too positive...
I'm doubting if I'll buy yet another PJ album or something else...
Not that I'll dislike it, probably not, but I already have a few records of her, if I feel like listening to Miss Harvey...

Well, I have to admit it's not her best work but I'm a die hard fan so I got it and I do like it.
