Luke Vibert never seems to lose any type of creativity. With his early Plug releases with a drum n bass/jungle style that were the "IDM" of drum n bass, then with his Wagon Christ funky acid groovyness, and even with stuff under his birthname, never quite lose my interest. Now with the Amen Andrews 12" series, he has definitely pulled off a great danceable sound, fusing jungle and ragga, but has his own interpretation of the "amen" break. This old school sound is definitely something we can enjoy, or at least I can.

I used to have Drum and Bass for Papa way back in 97 or 96, but it didn't quite turn me on as much as Photek.

I guess it is my problem that if a song doesn't have that dark feeling, I can't quite get into it. I am too dark for Wagon Christ

honestly, I think of that cd as IDM more than drum n' bass actually, but maybe that's idiotic of me

by the way, i LOVE that damn album!
