best live band i have seen has to be Brand New at the cockpit in leeds last month. if anyone hasn't seen these (whether you love them or not) go see them if you get the chance. the show rushes from intense hardcore emo to melodic solos from frontman jesse singing his heart out. pure perfection!

well, i enjoy local shows the most because they're more personal. i went to the last dji show the other night... it was amazing, to say the least. [if you're from this area, you know what i mean and you probably have a deep apreciation for jon frederik and his talents as well.]

I'd say Social Distortion in 2001 at the Orange county house of blues. I flew from Seattle to see them, and the weekend there was just awesome, we got went of Disney land (it's across the street from the house of blues) before the show and hit on Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty (we tried to get them to come to the show with us).

Best punk show.......

Guess that would be WARZONE (it's hardcore, but it fits the punkcategory) I had an amazing conversation with RayBeez about how European hardcore was so true and honest compared to most American wannabe's (Ray's words :-) )

3 Weeks later RayBeez died.... I cried like a little child.....

Earlier I put I had went to a Silverchair show...I don't know why I put that because I haven't, but I HAVE seen videos of them live and they truly are great from the shows in 2002 and 2003. I recently went to a Primus show however, Herb is back, and it is great. They are touring again this summer by the way....
