are you talking about Cadoo??? I didn't know he was in a metal band. Guess that's where Gridlock's influence probably came from...

Hi metalhead...
For sure the names the guys are telling you are just fine...but you may want to hear the names that even people who usually donīt like electronica, love
DJ Shadow
Chemical Brothers
Depeche mode
Massive attack
Fatboy slim
there are so many! that I feel sorry I can't name them all but if I do you may not hear not even one
Also try listening this metalcore band called UNDEROATH,
they have some electronic in their music and their tunes are awesome
try this songs
* the sun still sleeps
* angel below
Hope you like them

Ahhh! Dj Shadow! You can't mention him in this thread without saying UNKLE! It's weird, half of this stuff I would just call Alternative Dance Music rather than Electronic but I guess thats just another example of the boundries put upon us by genre!

Really? I guess it just means good dance music. I don't know what it's like elsewhere but in the UK there is a huge market in crap dance music. At the same time there is a lot of good dance music, the word alternative just helps me differentiate between the two.
