yeah, I know Luomo, that's a Vladislav Delay side project, also know Kim Cascone, he's experimentalist. Dwayne Sodahberk's also on the tigerbeat6 label that kid606 releases stuff under all the time...Frank Bretschneider and Goem are sound abstract experimentalists mostly on Raster-Noton...Heimir Björgúlfsson, I believe, is apart of the IDM/experimental group Stilluppsteypa...

why would you ask a question like that...It's America, most of people here are closed minded individuals, why the hell would they attend something like this?

I know, I know. it was a stupid question, but I still felt like asking.
rock music definitely dominates the land of america, not electronic.

primarily from the 50's on, yes, but it's sad how Jass (Jazz) was at the fore front for so many years and now most people don't care to listen to it, or know nothing about it...I know I wish I knew more.

jazz is actually still popular in america, look at the attendancy at New Orleans Jazz Festival. it is packed every year.
and NPR still plays a lot of jazz music during night time in Kansas and in Chicago.
since you are still in school Josh, have you taken a class in Jazz history? I wish I did. I took music history which was okay.

I know a bit about jazz history anyway, but I don't think my university offers that as a class, wish they did though, I definitely would take advantage of it
