Bought a jazz compilation, it's quite nice

Various Artists - Deelder Draait:
1 Carl Tjader - A Minor Goof
2 Don Patterson Trio - Sister Ruth
3 Red Holloway Sextet - Monkey Sho Can Talk
4 Don Wilkerson Quintet - Camp Meeting
5 Tony Fruscella Septet - Salt
6 Fats Navarro Featured With The Tadd Dameron Quintet - Anthropology
7 Kenny Dorham Octet - Minor's Holiday
8 Cozy Cole Orchestra - Blop Up/Blop Down
9 Cliff Jordan/John Gilmore Quintet - Status Quo
10 Red Norvo Big Band - Russian Lullaby
11 Eddie Lockjaw Davis Orchestra - Wild Rice
12 Sax Kari Orchestra - Down For Debbie
13 Erskine Hawkins And His Orchestra - Needle Points
14 A.K. Salim - Blu-Shout
15 Jimmy Heath Sextet - For Minors Only
16 Eric Kloss Quintet - African Cookbook

For now I especially like the 2nd and 8th track... I don't know any of these artists, but yeah I'm quite new to jazz... Though I saw that Art Blakey and Horace Silver listed as playing on one or more tracks and those names sound vaguely familiar...

Orpheus, you bought one?
I'm proud of you!
I'm glad to see that you like some of the tracks...actually, it's interesting, I don't know many of the people listed myself...what's the compilation called?

Deelder Draait, it's called... I think it's released only in Belgium & The Netherlands... but I still do prefer the rock records I bought:tongue:
