Just as another side note.. I saw another poll elsewhere online this week that showed "God Only Knows" among the highest ranked songs ever...

2 or 3, you gotta be kidding me. Here's a top ten,
War Sucks...Red Crayola
Baby Lemonade...Syd Barrett
Sister Ray...Velvet Underground
Interstellar Overdrive...Pink Floyd
Wild Thyme...Jefferson Airplane
Syringe Mouth...Mercury Rev
End of the game...Peter Green
Love song for the dead che...United States of America
As the world rises and falls, A child of a few hours is burning to death...West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band
And hell, anything on White Heaven's Out, Bardo Pond's Bufo Alvarius, and Harsh Jar Tempo's Well Oiled are great, psychedelic rock tunes.

Hey, I was gonna say that!
Also, I don't think any band did psychedelic music better than The Beatles, so my other two favorites would have to be...
The Beatles "A Day In The Life"
The Beatles "I Am The Walrus"
Oh hey, does The Velvet Underground count? If so, in the interest of having three different bands, I'll remove 'Walrus' in lieu of...
The Velvet Underground "Heroin"

Yes, I think the Velvets count. They were of the era, and perhaps a little closer to the darker realities of that era than a lot of the other bands would admit to in their music. "Heroin" is most definitely a psychedelic song...but of the "bad trip" variety, to say the least.

Cool and diverse list... (some on there I don't know, but I do know all but one of the artists and they are all quality selections in my opinion)...

One should never remove Walrus from any favorite list and I should be struck down for not including it on my list...

I was actually having reservations about it... Anyways, you're the one that limited it to only 3 songs!
