Thumbs up Del Tha Funkee Homosapien

Del Tha Funkee Homosapien is probably my favourite rapper around. The name might not sound too familiar to everyone but chances are you would have heard his work before. He started up with songs like Mistadobalina in the very early 90's and has since released solo material as well as being part of Handsome Boy Modeling School, Deltron 3030 and also doing the rapping for the Gorillaz.

Anyway, I just saw that he is releasing a new album next year which will be his greatest hits of the solo work he has done. It looks like it will be a really good album for anyone who is interested.

Sorry, this isn't meant to look like promotion, I just want people to talk about Del and I saw that he was releasing a 'greatest hits' album so I thought I'd mix that in with it all. Anyway, Discuss your feelings about this great rapper!!!

If people say they love hip-hop but you don't have Deltron 3030, then they're really just fakin' it.....

I know I know, I have so many things on my list to buy. hopefully christmas will provide many dollars in gift cards.
You know the other day I went into this music store and asked some guy in the hiphop area if they had any Basehead and he said "huh?" I hate that store.

that's not surprising. I had never heard of him actually until joining radiomute. He's not really out there on MTV/BET with pop-rap like Nelly or 50cent. You should look him up, there's lots of great stuff that is semi-underground. much better than the pop stuff IMO. like the stuff HC mentioned, such as Handsomeboy Modeling School.
