Ok, basicly all I have to say is that foobar has replaced winamp for me. The only thing I dislike about foobar is when it is down in the system tray, the "follow cursor" option doesn't work anymore. Other than that, its a beautiful program. I really love the ability to set global hotkeys so you can completely control the player without even having to bring it up from the system try. Very nice. Wouldn't recommend it to the not-so-computer-literate though. But to those who know what you are doing, go for it. You'll love it.

And for those who need good looks it is apparently skinnable too ! And you can even make your own icons for the program. Again the only problem with it is a very tiny inconveince, and the program is only up to version 0.8! and its already beaten out winamp for me, hows that?

I've been playing with Foobar too...I haven't done much with the hotkeys yet, but it seems to do everything I ask it too. It stays out of the way if I want it to (I know, I already brought this up )If I can get that detailed with hotkeys, I might only have to go Winamp to make a quick HTML playlist.

Well from what I remember of the overview, foobarlight has less codecs and such things.

I ran into a negative for Foobar...not sure if there is a way Foobar will follow shortcuts the same way Winamp does. Right now if I right click a folder tp play it, foobar will only play the MP3's if they are in that folder. Winamp will follow a shortcut, if you provide it, and openm the files in the folder that shortcut pointed to. Foobar just comes up with nothing

It will follow shortcuts if I right-click direct on them though.
