actually, I believe it was an old WWII submarine...I think he got it for about 40,000 US, but I could be wrong, apparently old machinery such as that is really cheap (well for this)

okay, 40,000 seems cheap for a WWII submarine, but what is he gonna do with it? is he gonna make studio out of the submarine(that would be so cool to record an album under the water) or it will just sit in the backyard of his house?

I often wonder what the purpose is to collect things like that. it seems to devoid any practical purposes...

shit, he has an old bank building? I love to convert one of those, or an old church, or a warehouse into living spaces.

there is an italian restaurant in Lawrence Kansas called Teller. the building was for a bank before. and they converted the big safe into a bathroom. that was cool.
